The raw material for fiberglass cloth is old glass or glass balls, which are made in four steps: melting, drawing, winding and weaving. Each bundle of raw fibre is made up of many monofilaments, each just a few microns in diameter, the larger ones more than twenty microns. Fibreglass fabric is the base material of hand-laid FRP, it is a plain fabric, the main strength is dependent on the warp and weft direction of the fabric. If you need high strength in the warp or weft direction, you can weave fiberglass cloth into a unidirectional fabric.
Applications of Fibreglass Cloth
Many of them are used in the process of hand gluing, and in the industrial application, it is mainly used for fireproofing and heat insulation. Fiberglass cloth is mainly used in the following ways

Fiberglass Cloth 7628 is made of superfine glass wool. Fiberglass cloth is an engineering material, which has many excellent characteristics, such as anti-burning, corrosion resistance, stable structure, heat-isolating, minimum elongated shrinkage, high intensity, etc.
Fiberglass cloth could be produced into different widths, each roll is wound on suitable cardboard tubes with an inside diameter of 100mm,then put into a polyethylene bag, fastened to the bag entrance, and packed into a suitable cardboard box.
Unless otherwise specified, the fiberglass products should be stored in a dry, cool and moisture proof area. Best used within 12 months after production date. They should remain in their original packaging until just prior to use. The products are suitable for delivery by the way of ship, train, or truck.
